Everything it does
The full list, as it stands today — dumpster rental, junk removal, and portable toilets. No vaporware.
Customer booking (no logins, ever)
- Book a dumpster online in under 3 minutes — address autocomplete, real-time size cards priced with delivery and mileage included
- Junk removal tab: load-fraction estimate + special items, arrival windows, final price approved in person
- Adjustable rental length — keep it longer, priced per day before checkout
- Card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay at checkout — US billing, no logins, ever
- Pay-on-delivery option: when the company allows it, the customer confirms online and pays cash or check at the curb
- Private tracking link: live status, driver-on-the-way map with ETA, delivery photos
- Self-serve: add days, request early pickup, cancel online (when the company allows), pay any open balance
- Multi-can orders: contractors book several dumpsters to one site in a single checkout — each can gets its own delivery, tracking link, and receipt (opt-in per company)
- Signed rental terms at checkout: customers read and e-sign YOUR terms (E-SIGN Act), and the exact signed text is archived with every order
- Automatic texts and branded email receipts at every step — reply STOP any time
- Abandoned checkouts get a finish-your-booking email with a one-tap pay link before they expire
- Book Now button that drops into any existing website you own
Running the company
- Today screen: money today, stops today, money owed today — three numbers, one list
- Dispatch board: build each day's route by moving color-coded tiles, or one-tap auto-optimize — the optimizer auto-inserts landfill/transfer runs, yard returns, and porta-potty service stops in order, and drivers run it exactly that way
- Month schedule with color-dotted days
- Live map: every can as a green/yellow/red pin, yard counts, today's numbered route
- Asset & PIN inventory: track every dumpster and porta-potty unit by asset number and PIN, with conflict warnings so two jobs never claim the same unit
- Automatic customer texts and branded emails: booking confirmations, day-before reminders, driver-on-the-way alerts, receipts, and post-job review requests — every one carrying your company name, sent for you from the DumpsterVibes texting number (no carrier registration to chase), with replies landing in your Inbox
- Full booking detail: charges, refunds (full/partial/fee-withholding), add days, add charges, swaps, cancellations
- Job economics on every booking: collected − dump fees − expenses = profit after dump (dump fees auto-deduct from weight tickets)
- Special pricing matrix per customer, line-item discounts, donation bookings
- Your own fee menu — tire fee, over-the-rim, wet paint, whatever the yard charges — one-tap on office and driver charges, itemized by name on receipts
- Flat pickup fee and mileage-based delivery pricing, always shown to the customer before checkout
- Cash and check payments tracked alongside card money
- No-pickup days: dump closed Saturday? Pickups skip it, deliveries keep rolling
- Taxes per ZIP with a company default; tax-exempt customers auto-zero on bookings your office or a driver enters — the online checkout still charges tax, so a guest can't claim someone else's exemption
- Trucks & DOT: inspection dates, driver medical cards, 30-day reminders, per-truck mileage report and tax CSV
- Reports: revenue, refunds, tonnage, mileage — every one exports to CSV
- Portable toilets: a per-unit catalog (standard, ADA, handwash and sanitation stations), owned-inventory tracking (out vs. available), haul limits and per-day delivery caps, deposits, and automatic weekly/biweekly/monthly cleaning stops
- Customer CRM with a do-not-service blocklist — block by name, phone, email, or address, and matching online bookings are turned away automatically
- Invoices & net terms: put a customer on invoice terms, merge bookings onto one invoice or batch-invoice the whole month, and track what's owed (AR); customers pay invoices by card or bank transfer
- Referral program (Future Program — commission rate and cap TBD): recruit another hauling company and earn a commission on their volume, paid to your Stripe account after each month closes. Not open yet — no referral can be submitted and nothing accrues until we publish the rate and cap (Terms §16).
- Free marketplace listing on /find: customers search their ZIP and see the closest companies with your rating, service badges, and a link straight to your booking page
- Suggestion box and account cancellation right in Support — no contracts, no hostages
Team, records & admin
- Employee records: staff profiles with hire details, license and DOT medical-card tracking with 30-day reminders, and emergency contacts on file
- Timesheets: drivers and staff clock in and out; hours roll up for payroll and export to CSV
- Team roles & permissions: invite staff and tick what office staff can reach — dispatch, the live map, bookings, refunds, invoices, the customer book, inventory, reports, the text inbox, and company settings (where pricing and booking rules live) — with a separate set of ticks for the driver app
- Admin & settings hub: your company's control panel — pricing, per-ZIP taxes, service areas, disposal/transfer sites, your fee menu, booking rules, notifications, and branding, all in one place
- Reports & CSV exports across revenue, refunds, tonnage, mileage, and hours — hand your accountant a file, not a shoebox
Drivers
- Runs in any web browser — native iOS and Android apps coming soon — same login, same stops
- Today list in dispatch order — deliveries, pickups, swaps, junk, dump runs, yard returns, porta-potty delivery/service/pickup — each one tap from navigation
- En Route streams live location to the customer's tracking page
- Complete stops with the can’s asset number + photo; blocked pickups reschedule themselves with a trip fee
- Junk jobs: build the final quote at the curb, customer signs on the phone, card on file charges, receipt sends
- Quick Task a walk-up in a few taps — dumpster or junk; change sizes on the fly
- At the scale: enter the weight ticket, overage bills itself, job closes
- Truck log: odometer in the morning, odometer at night — done
Your account & security
- Two-factor authentication available on every account — an authenticator app (TOTP), for company staff and platform admins alike. Turn it on in Settings; once an account has enrolled, every one of its logins requires the second factor
- Periodic password rotation on an industry-standard schedule — the change-password page is never gated, so nobody gets locked out
- Login, signup, and password-reset requests are rate-limited against guessing
- Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers; your money runs through your own connected Stripe account
How the platform collects payment
Your money goes to you. Every company connects its own Stripe account. Customer payments land in your Stripe balance and pay out to your bank on Stripe's standard schedule — the platform never holds your money.
The fee splits itself. On every online payment, the platform's share splits off automatically at the moment of payment. No invoices, no surprises — the meter is on your dashboard at all times.
| Fee schedule | You pay |
|---|---|
| Rate on each transaction | 2.9% |
| …until monthly fees reach | $99 |
| Rate after that, rest of month | 0.69% |
| Slow $2,000 month | $58 |
| Steady $5,000 month | $110 |
| Booming $20,000 month | $213 |
| Monthly fee · setup · per-user · contract | $0 · $0 · $0 · none |
Built for owner-operators and startups: a slow month costs you a few dollars, and you drop to the low 0.69% rate after just $99in fees — far sooner than the four-figure minimums the big platforms charge. There's no contract, and if pricing ever changes we tell you before it takes effect.
Cash and check jobs count too. Mark them paid in the office; the platform share accrues on your dashboard and settles from your Stripe balance with one click — taken from money already collected, never from a card on file.
What customers pay: exactly what you price. Optionally pass the card-processing fee through as a disclosed line at checkout — capped at what Stripe charges, never a markup — or absorb it, your call, per company.
Everything else: no monthly fee, no setup fee, no per-user or per-truck fees, no contract. Donated rentals inside your monthly allowance carry no platform fee at all.
