Text Messaging (SMS) Terms & Opt-In

Last updated: July 28, 2026

Who is texting you

DumpsterVibes is booking and operations software used by independent companies for dumpster and compactor service, junk removal, and portable toilets. When you book with one of those companies, the company you booked with is the business communicating with you. Its texts are sent using DumpsterVibes software, and each message identifies that company by name.

Texts cover the service you requested — booking confirmations, scheduling, delivery, pickup, servicing, driver or crew ETA, payment links, balance notices, and receipts — and, only if you separately agree to them, occasional service offers, rental-extension reminders, and review requests from that company.

How messages are sent today.DumpsterVibes operates the messaging infrastructure and is the registered sender with mobile carriers for the companies on the Platform. Messages from every company are delivered through DumpsterVibes’ messaging service, with the company named in the message. DumpsterVibes pays the underlying messaging provider and recovers that cost through its platform fees; the company is not billed separately by that provider.

How you opt in — the SMS consent (Call-to-Action)

You give express written consent when you place an order on a company’s online booking page. During checkout you enter your own mobile number and tick one box that is unchecked by default. It is optional, and it is the box reproduced below — the exact wording you will see at checkout.

The consent box, as it appears at checkout

The box is unchecked by default and optional. You can complete your booking without ticking it. If you do not agree, the company will reach you by phone or email instead. Ticking it covers both the service messages about your order and the occasional review request or rental-extension reminder described in it — reply STOP at any time and all of them end.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Consent applies to the company you booked with and to that service request or order.

Sample messages

“Acme Hauling” below stands for the company you booked with; its real name appears in your messages.

  • “Acme Hauling via DumpsterVibes: Your dumpster order #1042 is confirmed for delivery Tuesday. View details: [link] Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.”
  • “Acme Hauling via DumpsterVibes: Your junk-removal crew is on the way. ETA approximately 20 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”

Frequency & rates

Message frequency varies with your order’s activity (typically a few messages per order). Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt out & get help

Reply STOPat any time to unsubscribe — you’ll get one confirmation and no further texts from any company on the Platform at that number. Opting out never affects your ability to book, and it does not cancel your service or your obligation to pay for work already booked or performed — the company will simply reach you by phone or email instead, as it is still entitled to do where lawful and necessary. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Reply START to opt back in.
