How do I protect against card fraud? (Address & CVC checks)

Card payments on your bookings are screened automatically by Stripe's fraud tools. The booking checkout collects the customer's billing ZIP and card security code (CVC), and by default a card that fails either check is declined. You can turn either rule off under Settings → Payments & Invoicing; if you do, you accept the added risk. Screening cuts fraud but can't catch everything, and card networks don't verify the cardholder's name. You're the settlement merchant, so disputes and chargebacks on your sales are yours, and DumpsterVibes isn't liable for fraud on them (Terms §14). Suspicious order? Message us from Support.
