What's a payment hold and when should I use it?

Hold mode reserves the full estimate on the customer's card at booking without charging it. At the job you capture exactly the signed final — never more than the hold. Good protection on bigger junk jobs; card holds last about 7 days, so it fits jobs booked within a week.
